It follows Olive, a recent high school graduate who lands a summer internship with a professional photo retoucher in New York City. As she immerses herself in the world of digital image manipulation, Olive grows increasingly unsettled by the artificial standards being constructed behind the scenes — and begins to question both the ethics of the industry and her own sense of self.
